Art with Mrs Ganley

Last week our students were learning about artist Jasper Johns. He is an American painter, sculptor and printmaker whose work is associated with abstract expressionism, Neo-Dada, and pop art. He is well known for his depictions of the American flag and other US-related topics. Our students explored the technique of collage and how it can impact their work with symbolism. Our students used this technique making collages on the map of Australia.
