The Music Program

This week I dropped in on the students who were learning the Ukulele! At St Therese’s we believe that learning how to play a musical instrument boosts one’s IQ by as much as seven points. Research, says that the shape of the brain of musicians is different compared to those who don’t play any instrument as musical instruments improves motor skills, hearing and memory. The flow on of those skills improve our student’s ability to learn other languages, as well as recognizing emotions in people according to the tone of the voice. Now that is the spirit of Music at St Therese’s.
