Principal Visit to Prep

During my weekly visits to classrooms, I am proud to see the achievements of our students. This week, I visited the mighty prep students who were busy putting their editing skills to the test. The students were given a text with a number of spelling mistakes on the page. The students using their index finger tracked ever so carefully over the words whilst reading. When they noticed a spelling mistake, they circled the word and wrote the correct spelling of the word. Then, just to be sure, the students re -read the text to ensure it made sense!! Now that is the spirit of learning!!
